Food, cooking and gardening have long been in my “yes, please” column. A pot of soup can be a microcosm of saturated color and textures. Sunlight shining through the green and red leaves of chard, the twining vines of squash plants, and the warmth of freshly picked tomatoes or rich color of carrots and eggplant. Food is the sustainer of life, our beings, and our spirits. So many colors and an endless variety of shapes!
