I grew up surrounded by flowers fresh from the garden. I’ve also worked at nurseries and enjoy visiting public gardens. We’re fortunate to have bee hives in our yard, and watching the girls bring varicolored pollen to the hive is one of my favorite ways to chill. I enjoy capturing the way light falls on a group of trees or shadows on the ground on a morning walk. The quiet of the natural world is balm for my soul.
